Palazzo Ducale, 2.400 square meters on five floors, dominating the village and the surrounding valleys with a 360 degrees view that spans from the mountains to the sea in Abruzzo.

The local administration, who owns the building, is currently completing major restoration works to the structure of the building and is open to imaginative proposals for the use of the castle. A 99 years free lease (with option to buy at the end of the lease) is available to those who would complete the refurbishment of the castle in view of utilising it for tourist and cultural initiatives, perhaps combining activities such as hotel, conference centre, museum, residential apartments.

The local administration would also consider selling the whole complex, at a price to be agreed, matching at least the cost of restoration and maintenance they sustained in recent years (between 3 and 4 million Euro).

Public finance (national and regional) is available to contribute to the cost of renovation.

The local administration is very flexible and open to discuss proposal, their main interest lays in bringing new life to the area and the local community.

The village surrounding the castle currently has only 900 inhabitants, the village itself is very interesting from the architectural point of view and in good general conditions.

The area is very accessible, well served by motorway and airport, close to both spectacular mountains with winter sports facilities and the sea, rich in natural and historical places of interest and not yet exploited for tourist activities, despite being close enough to Rome.

In and around the same village several other buildings are for sale, including many houses of various dimensions (from 40 to 120 square meters) at very low prices, from as little as 10.000 Euro to 80.000 Euro.

The local administration has also purchased some buildings, refurbished them and given them to young people at low rents to encourage people to return to the area.

In the village there also is an abandoned hotel – restaurant of around 770 square meters which includes a cinema reminding the famous one of the “Cinema Paradiso” movie, all for sale at a really bargain price.
